The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hackney looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Smith scores with a sloppy right hand. Hackney should have avoided that one.
It looks like Eric Hackney has been cut.
Hackney wants to clinch.
Smith lands with a right hand.
Smith scores with a shot to the body.
Smith fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Smith lands a glancing blow to the side of Hackney's head.
Smith fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Smith punishes Hackney's body with a nice straight punch.
Eldar Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith works Hackney's body with a nice hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hackney takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hackney takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Smith cracks Hackney with a hook to the temple - Hackney is on wobbly legs here! Smith swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Hackney falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Smith wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Eldar Smith!
After winning the bout, Eldar Smith thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
