The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sheik misses with a two punch combination.

Kennedy pushes Sheik up against the cage in a clinch.
Sheik on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kennedy misses with a body punch.
Kennedy breaks the clinch.
Sheik misses with a double jab
and Kennedy counters with a two punch combo.
Sheik fails to land with a series of punches.

Kennedy throwing a counter right hand but Sheik manages to avoid it.

Sheik tries to break the clinch but Kennedy is controlling the position.
Kennedy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kennedy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Sheik, pushing him back against the cage.
Sheik on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kennedy goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Sheik blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Sheik avoiding damage as Kennedy throws knees to the body.
Kennedy keeps control of Sheik as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Sheik blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Kennedy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sheik's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Sheik duly obliges.
Kennedy is rocked!
It looks like Freeman Kennedy has been cut.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Sheik knocks Kennedy out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
