Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Claude Sexton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lukas Toth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Claude Sexton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lukas Toth! The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Steve Erwin and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Toth throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sexton was covering up waiting for the punch and Toth finishes the takedown easily into guard. Sexton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Sexton wants to stand but Toth is controlling the position. Toth landing with the ground and pound. Toth wants to control from the top but Sexton keeps moving. Toth slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Toth keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sexton's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sexton is looking for a triangle but Toth pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Toth working some strikes from top position. Toth looking to sit in guard and control but Sexton gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sexton is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Sexton seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Toth for as long as he can get away with. Sexton trying to control but Toth is working from the bottom. Sexton is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sexton wants to stand but Toth is controlling his posture from full guard. Sexton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Sexton controls from within his opponent's guard. Sexton looking to improve position, pressing down on Toth's thigh with his hand. Toth seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Sexton paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Sexton's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Toth picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
