2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marco Polo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Peter Lay! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A kick lands to the mid section there for Lay. Lay takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Polo on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Lay looks to throw the jab but Polo is out of range. Lay closes the distance and clinches. Nice body punch from Lay - that landed with a thud.

Lay feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Polos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Lay throws the left hand but Polo avoids the punch easily. Lay tries to bum rush Polo with a series of wild strikes but Polo uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lay throws a sloppy head kick and Polo counters with an inside leg kick. Lay misses with a straight left. Polo appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Lay has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Lay gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Polo counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Polo moves out of range of the body kick. Polo throws a quick counter kick to the body but Lay avoids it. Lay fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Polo manages to avoid it. Polo fires out a quick counter leg kick but Lay just manages to avoid it.
