Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Otso Koski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Timothy Boult! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koski uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Boult scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Koski drives through and clinches with Boult against the cage.
Koski comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Koski looks to throw an elbow but misses. Boult wants to break free but Koski has control.
Koski lands with a short shot to the head. Boult blocks the elbow strike.
Koski lands an elbow inside that Boult shrugs off. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Koski takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Koski leaning against his opponent.
Koski creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Boult's defenses. Nice elbow from Koski. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Koski creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Koski misses with an elbow strike.
Koski has Boult pushed against the cage. Koski lands an elbow inside that Boult shrugs off. Koski pushes off an throws an elbow but Boult leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boult changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Koski fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Boult throws a lazy right hand but Koski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Boult is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Koski is looking to chop away at Boult's legs. Koski walks into a left hand. Koski closes the distance and pushes Boult back into the cage. Boult wants a takedown.
Koski pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. A bit of stalling here from Koski.
Boult looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Boult has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Koski seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Boult can turn it around. Koski lands an elbow that stopped Boult in his tracks for a moment. Koski lands an elbow inside. A short right from Koski on the inside. Koski lands an elbow inside that Boult shrugs off. Boult takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Timothy Boult has been cut. Boult wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Koski gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Koski keeps control of Boult as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Koski tries to throw a body punch but Boult avoids it by throwing Koski back against the cage.

Boult is rocked! Koski is pushing Boult up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Boult wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Boult seems to have recovered his senses. Koski is pressed up against the cage. Boult has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Koski down to the mat. Koski avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Otso Koski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timothy Boult. Koski closes the distance and clinches. Koski creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Boult's defenses. Boult jumps guard but Koski turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Koski lands an elbow that stopped Boult in his tracks for a moment. Koski dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Boult's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Boult fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Koski on the side of the head. Koski fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Boult has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Koski moves into the clinch. Boult can't break the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Koski comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Boult takes an elbow to the temple. Koski lands an elbow just above Boult 's eye. Koski creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Boult's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Boult drops to his knees and Koski pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Otso Koski!
