Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tim Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zach Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen Fall out Boy - Sugar, We're Goin Down as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zach Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Johnson is controlling the pace.
Jones is trying to stand back up but Johnson is controlling him
Johnson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Johnson looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Johnson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Johnson is working away from the top position though.
Jones wants to improve his position but Johnson is controlling well.

Nice strikes from Johnson there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Johnson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jones with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Johnson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Jones is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
