Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Abel Trujillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trujillo comes into the arena with 2Pac - Hit Em Up blaring out of the sound system. Hardy comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Coming home -Dirty money kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Trujillo.
Trujillo moves into range and clinches up with Hardy.
Trujillo drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hardy pulls his leg out and moves away.
Trujillo lands with a straight right. Hardy didn't see that one coming.

Hardy remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Trujillo pushes Hardy away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Hardy gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Trujillo is not content to let Hardy control the position.
Trujillo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hardy on the ground.
Hardy thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hardy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Trujillo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Hardy has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trujillo gets caught napping as Hardy dives in and scores a takedown. Trujillo manages to retain guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Trujillo is looking to stand up but Hardy isn't so interested in that idea.

Hardy keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Trujillo's head.
Trujillo wants to get back to his feet but Hardy is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hardy seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Hardy postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Trujillo in real trouble here! The ref calls for Trujillo to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Jason Hardy decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
