Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Walton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Quinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quinn has chosen Razorlight - Golden Touch as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Walton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Quinn! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walton fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Quinn manages to avoid it. Walton throws a quick inside leg kick. Walton misses with a hook. Quinn checks a leg kick. Quinn is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Walton throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
It looks like Jason Quinn has been cut. Quinn shoots in but Walton avoids the takedown attempt easily. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Quinn has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Quinn pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Quinn shoots for a takedown but Walton saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A momentary lapse in concentration from Walton enables Quinn to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Walton manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Walton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Quinn on the ground. Walton is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Quinn is controlling him. Quinn is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Quinn trying to control the position from guard on top but Walton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Walton wants to stand up but Quinn is controlling him. Quinn engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Quinn passes Walton's left leg - he's now in half guard. Well, if Quinn is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Let's hope that Quinn has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Quinn tries for a takedown but Walton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Tony Walton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Quinn. Quinn swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Nice sprawl there from Walton as Quinn shoots in. Quinn shoots in looking for a takedown but Walton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Quinn's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Walton pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Walton sprawls well. Walton throws a good cross that connects.
Walton throws a body kick that misses. Quinn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A punch lands to the side of Quinn 's head but he takes it in his stride. Quinn takes a kick to the side of the head.
Quinn is rocked! Walton fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Quinn to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Quinn looks to clinch but Walton throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Quinn taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Tony Walton!
