Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dakker Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wily Swagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swagger has chosen Waylon Jennings - Good Ol' Boys as his entrance music. Dakker Kane has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane avoids the body shot from Swagger.
Kane tries to counter with a takedown but Swagger is quick to defend against it.

Swagger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kane doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kane manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Kane is trying to control the position but Swagger postures up.

Kane had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Swagger defends it easily.

Kane has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Swagger can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
My spies in Thunder MMA inform me that Swagger has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Swagger got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kane has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Swagger has managed to get both his arms back between Kane's legs - danger averted.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dakker Kane will probably get the nod.

Swagger changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kane looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Oh Kane is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Kane takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Swagger scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Kane is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Swagger can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

A very excited looking Wily Swagger rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
