Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between El Urso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideo Sakurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakurai misses with a hook.
Urso thinks about countering with a head kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Urso.
Sakurai rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Urso moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sakurai throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Urso really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Sakurai swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Urso lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Urso throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Sakurai.
A thudding body kick lands there by Urso!

Sakurai takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Sakurai misses with a wild body shot.
Urso is looking to counter with a body kick.

and Urso counters with a leg kick.
Urso lands a head kick. Sakurai smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Urso uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sakurai.
Sakurai cracks Urso with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Urso looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Sakurai finish him?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sakurai takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Sakurai has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Urso.
Urso plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Urso lands a head kick. Sakurai smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Urso throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Urso uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sakurai.
Sakurai connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Oh Urso is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Sakurai blocks the body kick.
Sakurai throws out a counter right but Urso avoids it with no problem.
Urso seems to have got his legs back now.
Sakurai throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Urso goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Sakurai throws a body shot but no joy.
Urso defending well as Sakurai loads up on a big left hand.
Urso misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Urso moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Urso lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Urso cracks the inside of Sakurai's front leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sakurai avoids the head kick by Urso.
Sakurai throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Urso lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Oooooh!!! Sakurai has knocked Urso down with a huge combo! Sakurai steps away and waves a wobbly Urso back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like El Urso has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Urso thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Sakurai if he has to take too many more of those.
Urso goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Urso throws a sloppy head kick and Sakurai moves out of range easily.
A countering left hand to the body from Sakurai misses.
Urso ducks under a wild hook from Sakurai.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Sakurai thows a left - swing and a miss!
Sakurai misses with a body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that El Urso will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on El Urso's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Urso misses with a kick to the body
and Sakurai counters with a left and a right... And another left! Urso is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hideo Sakurai!
