Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lawrance Gerltz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wladyslaw Raginis!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Steve Montenegro and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raginis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Gerltz scores with a head kick. Raginis tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.


It looks like Wladyslaw Raginis has been cut.
Gerltz scores with a decent looking hook.
Raginis throws out a powerful jab.


It looks like Lawrance Gerltz has been cut.
Gerltz lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Raginis throws a body shot but no joy.
A swing and a miss from Raginis.
Raginis swats away the attempt to clinch by Gerltz.

Raginis shoots in and bounces Gerltz off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gerltz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Raginis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gerltz swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Raginis won't allow Gerltz to sweep him here.

Raginis distracts Gerltz with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Gerltz holds on and takes a little breather.
Raginis stands and throws Gerltz's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gerltz is not content to let Raginis control the position.

Gerltz's coaches at Evil Empire: †AWAKENING† have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Raginis wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Gerltz scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Raginis keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Gerltz.
Raginis connects with a leg kick. Gerltz looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Gerltz throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Raginis counters with a straight right hand.
Raginis lunges at Gerltz with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gerltz's hand.
Raginis dives in and grabs Gerltz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gerltz pushes down on Raginis's head and hops out.
Raginis takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Raginis misses with a straight right.
Gerltz connects with the punch.

Raginis closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Gerltz's guard.

Gerltz pushes Raginis off and scrambles back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gerltz lands a nice leg kick that just misses Raginis's sensitive parts.
Gerltz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gerltz slips a straight right by Raginis.

Gerltz ducks under a wild hook from Raginis.
Raginis shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gerltz but Gerltz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Gerltz fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A jab lands there for Raginis.
Raginis misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Raginis is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Gerltz tries to work over Raginis's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Raginis is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Gerltz gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Lawrance Gerltz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wladyslaw Raginis.
Gerltz tries to work over Raginis's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Raginis ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Raginis no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Gerltz looking to sit in guard and control but Raginis gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Raginis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gerltz works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Raginis's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Raginis with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Gerltz tries to kick Raginis off in order to stand up. Raginis Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Gerltz dodges the ground and pound from Raginis.
Raginis cracks Gerltz with a big elbow.
Gerltz is trying to control Raginis's posture but Raginis avoids it.
You can see the frustration on Gerltz's face as Raginis controls the position.

Raginis goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Gerltz rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Raginis's guard! Nice work there by Gerltz!
Wladyslaw Raginis has got the better of the ground game so far.

Raginis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gerltz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gerltz manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wladyslaw Raginis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Gerltz throws a quick counter head kick but Raginis was just out of range.
Raginis looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Gerltz tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Raginis manages to circle out of the way.
Raginis takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Raginis lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Gerltz sprawling to the canvas. Raginis follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Gerltz hang on?

Raginis content to control rather than advance.
Oh Gerltz is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Raginis lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Gerltz quite badly. Gerltz pulls Raginis in close trying to recover. Raginis postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Gerltz on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Gerltz doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wladyslaw Raginis!
