The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Silver scores with a sloppy right hand. Santos should have avoided that one.
Silver lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Santos at a distance.
Silver takes a swing at Santos's ribcage but misses.
Santos has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Silver finds it's way round the side to connect with Santos's head.
Santos takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Silver connects with a body shot that sends Santos's belly button to the back.
Santos darts in looking for a takedown but Silver gets double underhooks and turns Santos into the cage.
Silver stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Silver stuns Santos with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silver scores with a nice head shot.
Silver thuds his right hand into Santos's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Santos tries for a takedown but Silver circles away easily
and Silver counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Santos is rocked!
Silver is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Santos had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Santos bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Silver comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Santos falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Santos was out before he hit the floor!

After winning the bout, Quick Silver thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
