Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hendrik Velikopolje (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurokawa Kenji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Velikopolje comes to the cage accompanied by Yngwie Malmsteen & Dio - Dream On. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hendrik Velikopolje! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
44 - 27 - 1, fighting out of London, Kurokawa Kenji! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kenji tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Velikopolje throws a head kick that misses. Kenji rushes Velikopolje and presses him up against the cage. Velikopolje gets underhooks to prevent Kenji's takedown attempt.
Kenji pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kenji tries to close the distance and clinch up but Velikopolje swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kenji with a poor takedown and Velikopolje counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That has opened up Kurokawa Kenji's cut even more. Kenji wants to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Velikopolje catches Kenji with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Velikopolje misses the shot to the body. Kurokawa Kenji seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Velikopolje lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. A looping hook to the body misses from Velikopolje. Kenji does a little dance to reset his feet. Velikopolje tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kenji forces Velikopolje back against the cage and clinches. Kenji drops down looking for an ankle pick but Velikopolje pulls his leg out and moves away.
Hendrik Velikopolje has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kurokawa Kenji. Kenji shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Velikopolje throws a head kick that half lands.
Kenji takes a head kick and keeps coming.
The cut above Kurokawa Kenji's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Velikopolje lands a big head kick that sends Kenji tumbling to the mat! Velikopolje takes a step backwards and waves Kenji back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Kenji is rocked!
Kurokawa Kenji's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Kurokawa Kenji's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Hendrik Velikopolje! An out of breath Hendrik Velikopolje thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
