Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Smoosh Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasuke Swan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swan has chosen Hello Ladies as his entrance music. Smoosh Jackson could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sasuke Swan's chin.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Steve Montenegro and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swan fails with a takedown attempt.
Jackson stuffs the takedown attempt from Swan. Swan gets slowly back to his feet.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Swan napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Jackson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Horrible takedown attempt by Swan or perhaps it was just good defense by Jackson, which made it look bad.

Smoosh Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sasuke Swan.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jackson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Swan quickly recovers to half guard.

Swan manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Jackson keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Jackson tightens his grip and picks Swan up, before dumping him to the ground. Swan manages to land in guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jackson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Swan on his heels. He'll look to pass Swan's guard now, I'm sure.

Jackson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Swan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Jackson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Jackson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Swan defends it well.

Swan has one foot on Jackson's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A close round but Sasuke Swan will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Swan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jackson defends well and Swan ends up having to push Jackson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Swan sneaks out the side door and pushes Jackson away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Swan pushes Jackson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Despite the aggression on Swan's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Jackson has his foot on Swan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Swan works his way back into a safe position though.
