De Medici fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tel� has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

De Medici throws out a leg kick but Tel� moves out of range and De Medici only half commits.
De Medici throws a hook to the side of Tel�'s head but Tel� sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Tel� tries to score a power double leg takedown but De Medici sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tel� somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michel Tel�. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tel� wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by De Medici, who protects the arm well.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
De Medici smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Tel� fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tel� lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and De Medici has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from De Medici and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Tel�'s hands are dropping dangerously low here and De Medici connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tel� scrambles back to his feet.
Tel� scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

De Medici does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
