Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martin Rocher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flakey Dryskin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Martin Rocher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Flakey Dryskin! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dryskin throws a combination. Rocher tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Martin Rocher has been cut. Nice sprawl there from Dryskin as Rocher shoots in. Dryskin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rocher changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dryskin tries to avoid it but Rocher manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dryskin to the ground. Dryskin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dryskin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rocher. Dryskin cracks Rocher with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Dryskin lands with an overhand left. Rocher fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dryskin sprawls well initially but Rocher persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Rocher wants to pass to mount but Dryskin is defending the position. Dryskin is trying to stand.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dryskin scores with a one two! Rocher had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Dryskin cracks Rocher with a right hand to the side of the head. Dryskin lands with a nice combination. Rocher backs away looking to recover. Dryskin throws a series of strikes that have Rocher backpedaling.
Rocher shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. No joy there for Dryskin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rocher accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dryskin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rocher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dryskin uses the cage to get back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Rocher lands with a punch from half guard. Rocher is keen to just control but Dryskin is a slippery customer. Rocher is pressing down on Dryskin's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dryskin is holding on for now.

Let's see what he's got on the mat. Rocher is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Dryskin keeping moving, preventing Rocher from controlling successfully. Dryskin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rocher postures up in Dryskin's guard and throws a big left but Dryskin blocks it. Rocher landing some decent shots from guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Flakey Dryskin dominated that round. The cut man is working on Martin Rocher's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rocher shoots in looking for a takedown. Dryskin tries to sprawl out of it but Rocher keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dryskin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Dryskin misses with the combination.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Dryskin tests Rocher's chin there with a solid looking shot. He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Dryskin has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Dryskin! Dryskin wanted to stand there but Rocher had control of the position.

Rocher had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dryskin is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rocher Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dryskin's back instead. Dryskin looking very determined here, making life difficult for Rocher.
Even with his hooks in, Rocher manages to miss with strikes from the back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dryskin is trying to get back to his feet but Rocher has full control of the position and if anything, Dryskin has just worked his way into a worse spot. Rocher throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Dryskin!
