Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Peter Oliver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Egor Polishuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Egor Polishuk has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Peter Oliver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Egor Polishuk!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Polishuk or perhaps it was just good defense by Oliver, which made it look bad.
Oliver is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Polishuk.
Oliver wants to clinch up but Polishuk keeps it at a distance.
Polishuk shoots for a double leg takedown but Oliver sprawls well. He's pushed Polishuk's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Polishuk manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Polishuk is looking to stall here but Oliver recovers full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Oliver moves into range and clinches up with Polishuk.

Oliver is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Polishuk is controlling him.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Polishuk controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Oliver is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That was a close round but I would say that Peter Oliver will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Oliver throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Oliver really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Polishuk is pushing down on Oliver's leg trying to pass to half guard. Oliver is fighting to maintain full guard but Polishuk has managed to sneak the leg through.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Polishuk darts in looking for a takedown but Oliver gets double underhooks and turns Polishuk into the cage.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Oliver leaves Polishuk with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Polishuk takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Polishuk got a little sloppy there for a moment and Oliver has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Polishuk has managed to get both his arms back between Oliver's legs - danger averted.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Oliver is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Polishuk is aware though and is defending well.

I would just about give that final round to Egor Polishuk.
I think Oliver has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
