Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rusted works Light's body with a nice hook.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rusted.
Rusted connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Rusted scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Light displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rusted has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Light takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Rusted displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Light throws out the jab.

Light is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Rusted has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Rusted connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Light is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rusted is taking a breather. Light says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Light dodges the ground and pound from Rusted.

Rusted is working to tighten his grip on Light's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Light has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Rusted is really squeezing tight and eventually Light passes out! Rusted breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
