Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Frank Farinola (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Santos has chosen im the best as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The key to victory for Frank Farinola has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Farinola! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Santos! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Franklyn Lucas and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Farinola closes the distance and clinches up with Santos, looking for a takedown. Farinola pushes Santos against the cage but Santos circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Santos tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Farinola rushes Santos and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Farinola just misses with a elbow thrown towards Santos's brow. Farinola prevents the takedown attempt.
Farinola gets a trip takedown into half guard. Santos pushes Farinola off but Farinola dives into side control.
Farinola trying to control the action but Santos is working from the bottom. A lull in the action here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Farinola throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Farinola lands some shots froms side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Farinola is chipping away with strikes.
Farinola in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Santos manages to get back to half guard. Farinola works his way into side control. Santos avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Farinola. Santos is letting Farinola control him for a moment. Farinola stands up. A punch combination from Farinola misses. Santos is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Farinola's half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Farinola manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Farinola pulls Santos in to control the position. Santos trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Farinola knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Santos on the ground. Farinola is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Santos is controlling him. Farinola keeping full guard, as Santos tries to pass. Farinola not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Santos advances to half guard. Farinola controlling the position for now. Santos is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Farinola is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Farinola wants to control but Santos is keeping busy and won't allow it. Santos is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Farinola sees it coming and defends easily. We've been informed that Santos has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. It looks like Santos is going to stand back up.
Santos trying to control from half guard but Farinola is working away. Santos tries to pass the half guard into mount. Farinola knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Farinola wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Farinola looks like he's trying to stand up.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Farinola is looking to improve his position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Farinola throws a series of strikes that have Santos backpedaling.
A leg kick checked by Santos. Farinola misses with a double jab.
Farinola feints a jab promting Santos to slip. Farinola then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Santos slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Farinola is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Santos. And Santos tries to counter it with a takedown but Farinola pushes his down on his head and steps out. Santos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Farinola.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Frank Farinola dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Left hook, right uppercut from Farinola. Farinola drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Farinola lands a couple of elbows. Farinola stands and throws Santos's legs to the side, diving into side control. Farinola working the ground and pound. Farinola trying to control the action but Santos is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frank Farinola overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Santos is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Farinola wants to control but Santos is keeping him busy. Farinola working the ground and pound. Farinola working the ground and pound from side control. Farinola landing strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Santos is looking for a sweep. Farinola is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Santos will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Farinola is looking to take a break and control but Santos is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Farinola scoring with punches and elbows. Farinola cracks Santos with a big elbow.
Santos is rocked! Santos sneaks back into half guard. Farinola keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Farinola is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Santos!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Farinola lands a big elbow. Santos is still in real trouble! Can Farinola finish him? Santos is breathing heavily. Farinola scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Santos?

Farinola landing shots from mount. A big strike lands for Farinola! That's really hurt Santos and he's turned his back - Farinola keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Farinola jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Farinola! Frank Farinola decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well. The defeated Robert Santos had this to say: 'i loose but i plant a venum to your body, your dead in days'.
