Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cervantes manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Claude on his heels. He'll look to pass Claude's guard now, I'm sure.
Claude utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Cervantes is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Claude doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cervantes.

Cervantes has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Cervantes looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Claude with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Cervantes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Claude has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Cervantes is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Cervantes is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Claude pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Cervantes wants the takedown. Claude is fighting it off but Cervantes persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Claude's guard against the cage.

Cervantes is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Claude is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Claude has escaped and now he's on top!
Cervantes is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Claude defends well.

Oh but Cervantes is tightening it up a little... Claude has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Claude reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Claude taps out! Nice BJJ there by Cervantes!
