Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Piotr Buklowicz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frankie Alvarez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Piotr Buklowicz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Frankie Alvarez!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buklowicz displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Alvarez.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Alvarez has eaten all the pies!
Alvarez throws a series of punches but Buklowicz moves out of range.
Buklowicz looks for a takedown but Alvarez sprawls well.
Buklowicz blocks a head kick by Alvarez.
Buklowicz throws a big counter combination but Alvarez scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Alvarez is defended easily by Buklowicz.

Buklowicz darts in and clinches Alvarez up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Alvarez tries to break the clinch but Buklowicz is controlling the position.
Buklowicz pushes Alvarez back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Buklowicz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Alvarez misses with a kick to the body.
Buklowicz shoots in looking for a takedown but Alvarez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Buklowicz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Buklowicz is trying to hold Alvarez in close to prevent damage but Alvarez has managed to pass into half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Alvarez lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Buklowicz will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Alvarez up against the cage.

Buklowicz has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Alvarez uses from the top position.
