Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Queen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Zharkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oliver Queen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Andrei Zharkov! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Queen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Zharkov throws a jab when Queen was well out of range. Queen tries to sprawl but Zharkov drives through with a takedown into half guard. Queen wants to get back to full guard. Zharkov content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Zharkov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Queen's head. Zharkov sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Queen defending well though. Queen keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Queen is holding on to half guard well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Queen tries to get to full guard but Zharkov has control of the leg. Zharkov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Queen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Zharkov is nestled in close to Queen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zharkov not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Zharkov seems to be working for a kimura but Queen defends the submission attempt. Zharkov throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Zharkov seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Queen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Zharkov is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Queen is in trouble now - Zharkov has advanced to mount! In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Zharkov working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Zharkov thowing shots but they're missing. Queen is in a horrible position here. Zharkov smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Queen is looking to get to half guard. Zharkov looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Zharkov cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Zharkov prevents Queen from getting the reversal. Zharkov cracks Queen with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Zharkov connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Zharkov postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Queen in real trouble here! The ref calls for Queen to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andrei Zharkov!
