Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Optimus Prime (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yo Hwan Lim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Optimus Prime had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Optimus Prime! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yo Hwan Lim! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Topper Green and Ben Watson.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lim dives in and grabs Prime's left leg, looking for a takedown. Prime pushes down on Lim's head and hops out. Lim fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Prime avoids it really well and circles away. Prime feinted with a counter takedown.
Prime shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Lim working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Prime. Prime content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Prime trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lim avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Prime preventing the sweep. Prime stands up over Lim, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lim not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lim is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Prime defends well. Prime sitting in guard, not really doing much. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Prime accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Prime postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Lim escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Prime gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Prime trying to control the position from guard on top but Lim is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Prime throws a big elbow that misses.
Lim looking for a guillotine here but Prime defends easily.
Lim is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Prime pushing down on Lim's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Prime missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Lim is pressing down on Prime's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Prime scoring with some ground and pound. Prime is looking to work some ground and pound but Lim has wrist control. Prime missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Lim manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Prime manages to get himself to full guard.
Lim stands up and waves to Prime to follow him. Prime has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Vicious Striking in the buildup to the fight. Prime connects with a right hand. Lim shakes it off.

It looks like Yo Hwan Lim has been cut.
Lim drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Lim wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Prime, who protects the arm well. Prime tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lim wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Lim is working Prime over with some ground and pound from side control. Prime sneaks back into half guard. Lim trying to control from half guard but Prime is working away. Prime has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Prime makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Prime. Prime is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Lim is looking to stand up but Prime won't let him. Prime is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lim is controlling him. Prime looking for a sweep. Not yet Prime, not yet. Lim pushes down on Prime's leg and manages to get into half guard. Lim wants to lay and pray for a moment but Prime keeps working. Prime connecting with a few gentle strikes. Prime wants to control but Lim is keeping busy.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Prime wants to improve his position but Lim is controlling well.
 The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Prime lands an overhand right. Prime darts in looking for a takedown but Lim gets double underhooks and turns Prime into the cage. Prime tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lim paws at him with a jab and circles away. Prime shoots and misses and Lim cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Prime stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Prime wants it to stay on the feet. Optimus Prime has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yo Hwan Lim. Prime tries to clinch up. Lim slaps away a takedown attempt from Prime, before circling back to the center of the mat. Prime is looking to clinch but Lim is avoiding it.
Lim looks like he wants to counter punch here. Prime throws a combination that misses and Lim counters with a stiff right hand. Lim misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lim walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Lim attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Prime changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Lim tries to score a power double leg takedown but Prime sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lim somewhat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Optimus Prime dominated that round. The cut man is working on Yo Hwan Lim's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lim shoots for a double leg takedown but Prime sprawls well. He's pushed Lim's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Prime swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lim.
Prime gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lim takes a shot to the head. Lim goes for a takedown in the clinch but Prime prevents it.
Lim's coach down at The Shield was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Lim's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Lim is looking for a takedown. Optimus Prime has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yo Hwan Lim.
Prime gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Prime is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Prime working Lim over with strikes.

Lim is rocked! Prime wants to take a breather but Lim is having none of it. Lim is still in real trouble! Can Prime finish him? Prime lands with a punch from half guard. Prime looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Lim trying to control but Prime postures up.
Lim manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Prime keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Prime breaks from the clinch.
Yo Hwan Lim is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Prime throws a right and a left that Lim avoids nicely. Prime wants to clinch up but Lim keeps it at a distance. Prime throws a right and a left that Lim avoids nicely. Lim throws a jab but it's blocked by Prime.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Lim tries for a takedown but Prime sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Lim looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Lim seems to have recovered his senses.
Lim bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Lim is breathing heavily.
Lim tries for a kimura but Prime is defending well. Prime gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Optimus Prime overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Prime trying to hold on to Lim's head to control him but Lim postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Prime slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Lim trying to control but Prime is working from the bottom. Lim looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Prime is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Prime is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lim sees it coming and defends easily. Prime lands strikes from half guard. Prime scores with a couple of good hammerfists. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Lim works his way to full guard. Good work. Lim looking to control.
Lim had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Prime defends it easily.
Lim is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Prime postures up and lands a big shot to Lim's brow.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Prime throws a big elbow that misses. Prime throws a big right hand that misses. Lim wants to sweep but no luck.
Lim has his foot on Prime's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Prime works his way back into a safe position though. Prime is in close to Lim's body, working some short punches and elbows. Lim is trying to keep Prime in close.
Prime landing with the ground and pound. Prime loads up on a big left hand. Lim felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Prime looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Lim can't hide his disappointment, as Prime celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Optimus Prime! Optimus Prime very nearly forgot to thank Big Bear Nutrition 160Q amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
