Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wolfgang Becker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Ironstone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Becker kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mr Boombastic. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rodney Ironstone! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Becker closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ironstone tries to kick Becker off but Becker keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Ground and pound from Becker. Becker wants to control but Ironstone is keeping him busy. Becker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ironstone with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Ironstone has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Becker not doing much here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Becker working Ironstone over with strikes. Becker scoring with strikes to the body and head. Ironstone keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Becker slips a nice elbow through Ironstone's hands, connecting with Ironstone's forehead. Becker lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Ironstone is looking to escape. Ironstone is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Becker scores with a couple of nice shots. Becker throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Becker missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Becker lands a nice short elbow. Ironstone on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ironstone is staying active underneath Becker, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Becker slips a nice elbow through Ironstone's hands, connecting with Ironstone's forehead.
Ironstone is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Becker lands a big elbow - Ironstone is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Becker!
