The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirkland fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Gerson checks it well.
Kirkland throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gerson avoids the body shot from Kirkland.
Gerson is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Kirkland.
Kirkland misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Kirkland counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Gerson out cold! What a finish! Kirkland is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
