Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Georges Hughes!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hughes darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Morbolev is trying to control but can't.
Hughes is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Hughes looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Morbolev blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hughes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hughes throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Hughes seems to be working for a kimura but Morbolev defends the submission attempt.
Morbolev is looking to improve his position.

Morbolev tries to hold on but Hughes pushes him away.

Hughes unloads with some shots from mount but Morbolev bucks and avoids them well.

Hughes with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Hughes goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Morbolev is on top in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hughes wants to sweep here but Morbolev controlling him for the moment.
Morbolev is posturing up here but Hughes has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Morbolev tries to roll out but it's too tight and Morbolev has to tap! Slick submission there by Hughes!
