Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Danny Charles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hanson Recall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Charles comes to the cage accompanied by Have Heart - Armed With A Mind. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Recall stuns Charles with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Charles doesn't manage to clinch there - Recall circles away.
Recall thuds a left hand into Charles's body.
Recall throws a combination. Charles tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Charles shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Recall as he avoids it easily.
Recall throws out a counter right but Charles avoids it with no problem.
A punch combination from Recall misses.
Hanson Recall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Recall connects with a nice looking jab.
Recall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Recall looks to score with a jab to the body but Charles is just out of range.
Charles avoids the body shot from Recall.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A frustrated look appears on Recall's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Recall fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Recall jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Charles walks away with a smile on his face. Recall gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Charles with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Recall to score with a decent uppercut.

Recall throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Recall enables Charles to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Recall manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Recall wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Charles is now in half guard.
Charles prevents Recall from improving his position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Charles tries to score with some ground and pound. Recall controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Recall manages to work his way to half guard, despite Charles's best efforts.
Charles looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Recall with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Recall is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Charles pulls his head out easily.
Charles slips a nice elbow through Recall's hands, connecting with Recall's forehead.
Recall missing with punches from the bottom.
Recall is trying to maintain the position but Charles is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Charles wants to stand up but Recall is controlling the position.

Charles is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Recall is just riding it out for now. Charles eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Hanson Recall dominated that round.
That's time! Charles's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Charles tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Recall manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Recall throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Recall misses the shot to the body.
Charles lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

It seemed like Recall was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Recall throws a nice looking combination but Charles bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Recall throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Recall gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Charles to score an easy takedown into full guard.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
A nice combination there by Recall.
Charles fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Recall looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Charles pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sloppy strikes from Recall. Those never looked like landing.
Charles shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Recall appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Recall is trying to drag Charles to the mat but Charles just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Danny Charles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hanson Recall.
Recall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Recall stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Charles swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Recall keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Charles's head.
Charles is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Recall works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Recall wants to work for an arm triangle but Charles is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Charles wants to get back to his feet.
Charles is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Highland Brawl Academy, so we'll see if he gets out of it.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
