Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Guy Hanes!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
SissyPants cracks Hanes with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Hanes wants to clinch but SissyPants slips to the side
and SissyPants counters with a left and a right that stings Hanes.
Hanes with a lazy takedown attempt
and SissyPants counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hanes should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Hanes misses with a takedown
and SissyPants counters with a nice uppercut.

Hanes is rocked!
Hanes moves to clinch but SissyPants breaks away
and SissyPants counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Hanes thinking.
Hanes darts in trying to clinch

and SissyPants counters with a crisp right hand that drops Hanes! SissyPants lets Hanes back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Hanes is still on wobbly legs! Can SissyPants finish him?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

SissyPants feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hanes sprawling to the canvas! Hanes rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can SissyPants finish him?!
Hanes closes the distance but SissyPants moves to the side
letting SissyPants counter with a right hand.
Hanes takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Hanes seems to have recovered his senses.

and SissyPants counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Hanes tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and SissyPants cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
SissyPants definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

That's one minute gone in the round.
SissyPants cracks Hanes with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Hanes tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but SissyPants pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Hanes is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). FannyPack SissyPants!
FannyPack SissyPants decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
