Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Isreal Mayer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor MacLeod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Isreal Mayer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Connor MacLeod! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mayer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
MacLeod is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. MacLeod looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Mayer scores with a head kick. MacLeod tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Mayer shoots in and bounces MacLeod off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Mayer wants to stand and escape but instead MacLeod has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. MacLeod throws a big right hand that misses. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mayer keeping full guard, as MacLeod tries to pass. Mayer is adopting a defensive guard. Mayer is looking to stand up but MacLeod isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mayer pulls MacLeod in close to his closed guard and prevents MacLeod from doing any damage or advancing position. Mayer wants to get back to his feet but MacLeod is in a dominant position and won't allow it. MacLeod wants to stand but Mayer has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Mayer is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Mayer looking to control but MacLeod passes into half guard.
MacLeod takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Mayer is looking to escape. MacLeod is looking for a kimura here.
MacLeod is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mayer tries to kick MacLeod off but MacLeod keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Mayer trying to control here.
Mayer wants to get back to his feet.
Mayer has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. MacLeod is working away from the top position though. MacLeod has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mayer defend it? MacLeod steps over the head and cranks it - Mayer is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for MacLeod!
