Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kamil Kampamba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mathek Kiraly!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Kiraly misses.
Mathek Kiraly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kiraly looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Kiraly gets the takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Kampamba is looking for a sweep.
Kiraly in side control, throwing shots but Kampamba defends.
Kiraly lands some shots froms side control.
Kiraly looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Kampamba is avoiding damage well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kiraly is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kampamba has escaped the position, nice work there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kampamba parries the strikes from Kiraly easily there. Kiraly is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Kampamba to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kiraly creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kampamba sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Kiraly tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kampamba regains half guard, as Kiraly was trying to land strikes.
Kiraly sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kampamba defending well though.
Kampamba regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Kiraly.
Kiraly throws a big right hand that misses.
Kampamba looking to control.
Kiraly throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Kiraly throws a big elbow that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kiraly postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Kiraly is looking to work some ground and pound but Kampamba has wrist control.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Kiraly closes the distance and pushes Kampamba back into the cage.

Kiraly escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kiraly has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

Kiraly throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kampamba tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kiraly is in Kampamba's guard.
Kiraly landing with the ground and pound.
Kampamba is trying to keep Kiraly in close.
Kiraly makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Kiraly throws a big right hand that misses.
Kampamba avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Kampamba utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kiraly accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Kampamba controls Kiraly momentarily but Kiraly frees himself.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Kiraly bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kampamba is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Kiraly has an Americana. Kampamba didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kiraly is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kiraly hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Mathek Kiraly!
Our winner, Mathek Kiraly, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
The defeated Kamil Kampamba had this to say: 'F*CK EVERYTHING I'M The Be(a)st'.
