Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hiro Tanaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emmanuel Gunines (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiro Tanaka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Emmanuel Gunines! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tanaka moves into the clinch successfully.
Gunines letting Tanaka take a breather here. Gunines looking for a takedown. Gunines has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tanaka after a bit of a struggle. Gunines is fighting off a takedown attempt but Tanaka is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Gunines to the mat. Gunines regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Tanaka is stalling in the full guard. Tanaka trying to control but Gunines is working from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tanaka sitting in guard, not really doing much. Tanaka trying to control the position from guard on top but Gunines is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tanaka looking to pass the guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. A momentary lapse in concentration from Tanaka enables Gunines to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tanaka manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Gunines stays in close to Tanaka's body and controls the position. That's two minutes gone in the round. Gunines pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tanaka is keeping the position for now. Gunines stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tanaka swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gunines is sitting in close to Tanaka's body. Tanaka has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Gunines is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Gunines is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Tanaka.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Hiro Tanaka! After winning the bout, Hiro Tanaka thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
