Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Garcia might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to MS-13 Mara Salvatrucha. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Garcia!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Johnny Williams!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams lands with a slapping head kick.


It looks like Joe Garcia has been cut.

Garcia definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Williams is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Garcia gets his way!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Garcia is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Williams is defending well though. Garcia let's go of the attempt for now.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

That was a close second round but I would say that Joe Garcia will probably get the nod.

Williams is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.

Garcia has taken the fight to the clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
With the fighters up against the cage, Garcia throws an elbow but misses.
Garcia is trying to force a seperation but Williams has the dominant position.
Garcia jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Williams walks away with a smile on his face. Garcia gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Garcia drops down looking for a counter takedown but Williams sprawls and moves away.

Garcia seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Williams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Garcia sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Williams somewhat.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Williams dives in and grabs Garcia's left leg, looking for a takedown. Garcia pushes down on Williams's head and hops out.
Garcia swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Johnny Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Garcia has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
