Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karatzas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hernandez pinned against the cage. Hernandez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hernandez went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Hernandez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Hernandez manages to break the clinch.
Mak Karatzas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hernandez darts in and clinches Karatzas up against the cage.
Hernandez is trying to trip Karatzas. He has hold of a leg but Karatzas is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Hernandez persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Karatzas has momentary wrist control but Hernandez slips an elbow through the middle.

Karatzas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hernandez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hernandez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Hernandez swings around for an armbar but Karatzas sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Hernandez's guard.
Hernandez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Karatzas closes the distance and clinches up with Hernandez, looking for a takedown. Karatzas pushes Hernandez against the cage but Hernandez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
As Karatzas tries to get set, Hernandez tries to push him back and clinch up but Karatzas manages to avoid the attempt.
Karatzas throws a series of punches but Hernandez avoids them all with ease.

and Hernandez moves into the clinch.
Karatzas is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Hernandez has hold of one of Karatzas's legs. Karatzas is fighting the takedown attempt but Hernandez gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Karatzas wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Hernandez manages to pass to side control.
