Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jryl Maralit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Owen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andy Owen!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Topper Green and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maralit moves into the clinch successfully.
Owen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Owen takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Andy Owen has been cut.
Maralit misses with an elbow over the top.
Maralit is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Owen misses with a knee strike.
Maralit throws an elbow that misses.
Maralit pushes off an throws an elbow but Owen leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Owen misses with a punch to the body.
Owen is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Maralit is defending well for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Maralit lands a damaging elbow.
Maralit will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Owen up against the cage.
Maralit manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Maralit pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Maralit comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
That has opened up Andy Owen's cut even more.
Owen blocks an elbow strike.
With the fighters up against the cage, Maralit throws an elbow but misses.
Maralit creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Owen's defenses.
The cut above Andy Owen's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Maralit just misses with a elbow thrown towards Owen's brow.
Owen goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Maralit looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Andy Owen's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Andy Owen's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
