Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rumina Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Merik Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sato comes to the cage accompanied by Call to prayer of islam. Hunt has chosen Comfortably Numb as his entrance music. Sato is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sato fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hunt manages to avoid it.
Nice defenses there by Sato.
A jab from Hunt finds it's way through Sato's defenses.
Sato is breathing heavily.
Hunt misses the jab.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Hunt.
Hunt connects with a body shot that sends Sato's belly button to the back.
Hunt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sato moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hunt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hunt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hunt works the jab nicely.
Sato ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hunt moves away.
Hunt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sato has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hunt finds it's way round the side to connect with Sato's head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Sato throws a low kick, looking for Hunt's leg but Hunt calmly moves out of range.

Hunt connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sato. Sato circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Hunt turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Hunt throws a hook but Sato blocks it.

Sato is looking to counter punch.
Sato throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hunt lands a nice hook to Sato's body. Sato takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Sato on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hunt. Hunt obviously looking to wear him down.
Hunt is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Sato had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Hunt lets loose with a powerful body kick. Sato will feel that in the morning.
Sato closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Hunt shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sato's guard.
Hunt makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Hunt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hunt is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Hunt is working Sato over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Oh Sato is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hunt postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Sato covers up, he's hurt! Hunt keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Hunt and the ref steps in to end the fight! Hunt can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

During a confident post fight interview, Merik Hunt thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
Rumina Sato spoke after the fight, saying 'It's at times like this, one must reach deeply into his soul,challenge his heart, feel new courage, endure the fuck pain and say 'FUCK ISLAM AND MOHAMMED WAS A PEDOPHILE''.
