The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Freeman looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Freeman shoots in for a takedown but McMurray shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
McMurray drops down looking for a counter takedown but Freeman sprawls and moves away.

McMurray gets a clinch.
Freeman's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Nice body punch from McMurray.

McMurray breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McMurray misses with a jab, cross combination.
McMurray thuds his shin into the meat of Freeman's side.
Freeman looks winded!

McMurray instigates a clinch.
McMurray lands an elbow that stopped Freeman in his tracks for a moment.

McMurray scores with an uppercut up the middle.

The cut above Gordon Freeman's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Freeman takes a knee to the side of the body.

McMurray throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Freemans head.
McMurray lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Freeman backwards.
McMurray lands with a right to the head.
McMurray lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Freeman.

Freeman is rocked!

Gordon Freeman's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
McMurray works on Freeman's body with a couple of short punches.

McMurray throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Gordon Freeman's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
