Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Freddie Nightmare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travadera Fernandes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Freddie Nightmare! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Travadera Fernandes! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nightmare tries to clinch but Fernandes is having none of it. Fernandes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fernandes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Fernandes looking for a guillotine from mount but Nightmare is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nightmare is trying desperately to improve position. Nightmare is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Nightmare knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fernandes on the ground. Fernandes working for a submission but Nightmare is keeping him at bay. Fernandes avoids the attempt from Nightmare to control. Fernandes can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nightmare is looking to escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fernandes thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Nightmare on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nightmare tries to get out of the position. Nightmare wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Fernandes landing strikes from the mount and Nightmare is in trouble! Nightmare tries to lock up and control but Fernandes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Nightmare's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Poor strikes thrown by Fernandes there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Nightmare working to try and regain half guard.
Fernandes wants to take his opponent's back but Nightmare doesn't allow it. Nightmare defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Fernandes. Fernandes looks gassed! Nightmare trying desperately to get to his feet.
Nightmare tries to hold on but Fernandes postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fernandes can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Nightmare is looking to escape. Nightmare tries to hold on but Fernandes pushes him away. Nightmare keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Fernandes stands up from mount. Strange move. The fight stays on the outside here - Nightmare looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nightmare fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fernandes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fernandes tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nightmare swivels and escapes. Fernandes should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Nightmare lands a two punch combo.
Nightmare misses with a takedown attempt - Fernandes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nightmare fails in his attempt to clinch. Nightmare tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fernandes swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nightmare has Fernandes up against the cage in a clinch.
Nightmare tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Nightmare breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Fernandes darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Nightmare scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Fernandes manages to mount him!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Travadera Fernandes dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nightmare wants to clinch. Nightmare scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Nightmare shoots for a takedown but Fernandes saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Fernandes circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fernandes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nightmare clinches up against the cage. Fernandes fails to pull guard.
Nightmare using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Fernandes has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Fernandes tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Fernandes is breathing heavily. Nightmare fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nightmare looks to land a combination but Fernandes avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fernandes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Freddie Nightmare has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Travadera Fernandes. Nightmare moves in looking to clinch but Fernandes pushes him off. Nightmare stuffs the takedown attempt from Fernandes. Fernandes gets slowly back to his feet. Nightmare shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Fernandes is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Fernandes tries to hold on but Nightmare postures up. Nightmare tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Fernandes throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nightmare controlling from the full mount. Fernandes is trying desperately to improve position. Nightmare sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Nightmare trying to control but he's not successful this time.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Freddie Nightmare just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Nightmare clinches up with Fernandes and pushes him back against the cage. Nightmare manages to break the clinch.
Nightmare closes the distance and clinches. Nightmare pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nightmare keeps the fight on the outside. Nightmare looks to clinch and Fernandes counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nightmare won't be happy with that. Fernandes thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Nightmare can't do much from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Freddie Nightmare dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Nightmare looks to clinch and Fernandes counters with a single leg into guard. Nightmare didn't expect that. Fernandes throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nightmare works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Fernandes is standing up over Nightmare. Nightmare looks to escape but Fernandes dives into side control.
Fernandes tries to advance to mount but can't. Nightmare struggling a bit here. Fernandes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nightmare, who protects the arm well. Fernandes takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fernandes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Nightmare keeps working. Nightmare is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nightmare moves into the clinch successfully.
Nightmare keeps control of Fernandes as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Nightmare scores with a shot to the side of Fernandes's head. Nightmare tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Nightmare lands with a left to the head. A bit of stalling here from Nightmare.

Nightmare drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Fernandes gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Fernandes changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Nightmare fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Nightmare tries to bum rush Fernandes with a series of wild strikes but Fernandes uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nightmare wants to clinch up but Fernandes keeps it at a distance. Nightmare lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nightmare tries to land a front kick but Fernandes steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Nightmare tries to close the distance and clinch but Fernandes swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fernandes avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fernandes instigates a clinch. Nightmare with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Freddie Nightmare. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nightmare wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Fernandes fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Fernandes tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Nightmare smiles and moves away.
Nightmare wants to clinch but Fernandes slips to the side and Fernandes counters into the clinch. Nicely done. A battle for position here, against the cage. Nightmare breaks the clinch.
Nightmare shoots and misses and Fernandes counters with a nice double leg into side control. Nightmare won't be happy with that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fernandes looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Fernandes sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Nightmare is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Fernandes prevents Nightmare from escaping the position. Fernandes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nightmare, who protects the arm well. Fernandes works to advance to full mount. Nightmare defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
And that's the end of the fight! Travadera Fernandes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Fernandes has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
