Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Devas Tator! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ovaltine Jenkins! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Franklyn Lucas and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jenkins misses with a head kick.
The fighters circling - Tator throws out the jab but it was never going to land. We've been hearing reports that Tator has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Tator throws an off balance right hand
and Jenkins counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Tator connects with a leg kick. Jenkins looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Tator blocks the body kick.
Tator slips a jab and a cross from Jenkins.
Tator jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Jenkins misses with a kick to the body.

Tator looks for the body kick but Jenkins saw that one coming. A leg kick checked by Jenkins. Tator has Jenkins up against the cage in a clinch.

Tator lands on the inside with an uppercut. Tator misses with a short punch on the inside. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jenkins prevents a body shot from Tator. A short left from Tator. Tator cracks Jenkins with a nice body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tator lands a shoulder strike. Jenkins tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A quick uppercut on the inside from Tator. Jenkins tries to break the clinch but Tator is controlling the position. Tator keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Jenkins's efforts to push away. Tator tries a body shot but Jenkins blocks it.

Tator has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jenkins is trying to keep an underhook but Tator manages to get the takedown into half guard. Tator is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Tator working over Jenkins with some ground and pound. Jenkins looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Jenkins is positioning himself well to prevent Tator advancing to mount. Tator throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tator scoring with strikes to the body and head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jenkins is staying active underneath Tator, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Tator is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jenkins doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tator. Tator thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Jenkins trying to control but Tator postures up.
Tator wants to take a breather but Jenkins is having none of it. Tator missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Jenkins is trying to maintain the position but Tator is very close to passing his half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jenkins avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Tator. Tator trying to control from Jenkins's half guard. Jenkins has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Tator chips away with some ground and pound. Jenkins has his hands on Tator's head, controlling the position. Jenkins being controlled here, momentarily. Jenkins pulls Tator in close to his closed guard and prevents Tator from doing any damage or advancing position. Tator missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Tator is looking to work some ground and pound but Jenkins has wrist control. Tator trying to control the position from guard on top but Jenkins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Tator working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jenkins's head. Tator lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Tator keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jenkins's head. Jenkins being controlled here, momentarily. Jenkins keeping moving, preventing Tator from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jenkins jabbing away but nothing is landing. Tator throws a low kick, looking for Jenkins's leg but Jenkins calmly moves out of range. Tator is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jenkins can do to turn this around? Jenkins throws a body punch but Tator moves out of range. Jenkins throws a head kick but Tator moves out of range.

Jenkins tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tator throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Jenkins throws a head kick but Tator moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tator looks for a takedown but Jenkins sprawls well. Jenkins blocks the body kick.
Jenkins looks to land a combination but Tator avoids it well. As Jenkins tries to get set, Tator tries to push him back and clinch up but Jenkins manages to avoid the attempt. Jenkins chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tator can pounce on him.
Ovaltine Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tator tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Jenkins is fighting off a takedown attempt but Tator is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Jenkins to the mat. Jenkins regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Tator throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jenkins works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Tator postures up and lands a big shot to Jenkins's brow. Tator throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jenkins working a defensive guard here.
Tator trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Tator not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Tator makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jenkins lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tator holds on and takes a little breather. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tator is on top in guard.
Tator is working Jenkins over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tator throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jenkins works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jenkins is trying to control the position but Tator postures up. Jenkins manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Tator manages to get himself to full guard.

Tator wants to sweep here but Jenkins controlling him for the moment. Tator looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Jenkins preventing the sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Tator wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Tator working for a triangle but Jenkins defends it easily.
Tator wants to sweep here but Jenkins controlling him for the moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jenkins wants to control from the top but Tator keeps moving. Tator has his hands on Jenkins's head, controlling the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Devas Tator dominated that second round. That's time! Tator's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Tator lands a leg kick that knocks Jenkins off balance momentarily. Tator closes the distance and pushes Jenkins back into the cage. Jenkins stops a takedown attempt from Tator.
Tator looking to slow down the pace here. Jenkins breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

It looks like Devas Tator has been cut. Jenkins throws the left hand but Tator avoids the punch easily. Tator is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Jenkins. A kick lands to the mid section there for Tator.

Tator tries to score with a low kick but Jenkins moves his leg out of the way. Jenkins keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ovaltine Jenkins seems to be getting the better of the standup. Tator blocks a head kick by Jenkins.
As Jenkins tries to get set, Tator tries to push him back and clinch up but Jenkins manages to avoid the attempt. Tator rushes Jenkins with punches - Jenkins moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Jenkins goes down! Tator follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Devas Tator! After winning the bout, Devas Tator thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
