Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Atu Uba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamel Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Atu Uba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jamel Jones! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Peter Branson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uba goes for a double leg but Jones avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jones continues to drive forward. Jones tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Jones scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Uba makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Atu Uba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice sprawl there from Jones as Uba shoots in. Jones changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Jones shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Uba is trying to defend but Jones finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Jones is keen to just control but Uba is a slippery customer. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones slips a nice elbow through Uba's hands, connecting with Uba's forehead. Jones scoring with strikes to the body and head. Jones lands strikes from half guard. Uba is looking to control Jones's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Uba avoid being mounted? Uba tries to get to full guard but Jones has control of the leg. Jones controlling the action here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uba is trying to stand up here but Jones is controlling him well. Uba makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Uba. Uba will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Uba had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jones defends it easily. Uba has momentary wrist control but Jones slips an elbow through the middle. Uba not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Uba is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Uba is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Jones works over Uba with some ground and pound from guard. Uba is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jones is aware though and is defending well. Jones is working Uba over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Jones working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Uba's head. Jones stands up over Uba, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Uba is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Uba is looking to stand up but Jones isn't so interested in that idea. Jones stopping the sweep attempt from Uba. Jones lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Uba throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Jones keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Uba's head. Jones trying to control but Uba is working from the bottom. Jones content to stall in guard here. Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Uba is retaining full guard. Uba has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though. Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jones with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Uba is trying to keep Jones in close.
Jones trying to control but Uba is working from the bottom. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Jones drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jones makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Uba keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Uba looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Uba throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Jones wants to control from the top but Uba keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jamel Jones dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Uba shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Uba dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Uba's head and hops out. Atu Uba is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Uba will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Atu Uba. That's going to take a lot out of him. Uba fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jones with the counter takedown but Uba avoids it easily. Jones misses with a body shot.
Jones moves into the clinch. Uba lands a nice knee to the body. Jones is trying to pull guard but Uba has him pressed against the cage. Uba landing knees to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jones tries to score a body lock takedown but Uba shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Uba looking to throw knees to the head but Jones is blocking nicely.
Jones is trying to pull guard but Uba turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Jones has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Uba after a bit of a struggle. Uba with an attempt at a knee that misses.

It looks like Jamel Jones has been cut. Jones takes a knee right on the jaw!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Uba misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Jones.

Uba putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Jones in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Jones keeps control of Uba as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Uba with a knee to the head.

Uba gets through Jones's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Jones has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Uba regains guard immediately. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Uba looking for a triangle here. Jones is fighting it but it looks tight! Uba pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Jones is tapping out - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Atu Uba! Our winner, Atu Uba, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
