Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donny Bag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bolin Jang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bolin Jang is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Donny Bag! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bolin Jang! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Bruno Hogan and Topper Green.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jang shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jang was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Bag explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Bag moves away from the strike by Jang. Bag shoots in for a takedown but Jang shows good takedown defense. Jang shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bag manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Bag working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jang manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Jang wants to pass the guard but Bag is keeping the position. Jang landing with the ground and pound. Jang controls from within his opponent's guard. Bag definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Jang chips away with some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jang trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jang landing some decent shots from guard. Bag being controlled here, momentarily. Bag really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Bag looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Bag knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jang on the ground. Jang tries to free his leg and advance position but Bag is retaining full guard. Jang engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Bag trying to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Jang takes a swing at Bag's ribcage but misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Jang swings for the body but Bag moves out of range.
Jang fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A big left from Jang misses. Jang dives in and grabs Bag's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bag pushes down on Jang's head and hops out. Bag wants to clinch and Jang counters with a single leg into guard. Bag didn't expect that. Bag is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jang postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Jang preventing the sweep. Jang postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Jang is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jang postures up and lands a big shot to Bag's brow. Bag is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jang seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Jang swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bag avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Bag changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jang tries to avoid it but Bag manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jang to the ground. Jang escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bag tries to clinch up. Bag shoots in for a takedown but Jang shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Donny Bag. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bag cracks Jang with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A punch combination from Bag misses. Jang drives through with a takedown into Bag's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The fighters are working up against the cage. Bag manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bag breaks from the clinch.
Bag gets caught flat footed, as Jang shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jang is in close to Bag's body, working some short punches and elbows. Jang thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Jang looks winded! Jang makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Jang slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Bag controls Jang momentarily but Jang frees himself. Jang controls from within his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bolin Jang dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Bag will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jang scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Bag tries to bench press Jang off him but Jang keeps the position. Jang has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bag wants to control but Jang postures up. Jang is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Bag will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Bolin Jang has got the better of the ground game so far. Bag is trying to get back to his feet. Jang is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bag knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jang looks up at the clock and then as Bag takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Jang smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Bag is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jang scores with a couple of short elbows. Jang lands an elbow. Jang controlling the position from side mount. Bag struggling a bit here. Jang works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Jang lands some shots froms side control. Jang works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Bag is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. You can see the frustration on Bag's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Oh Bag is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Jang landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jang landing strikes. Jang advances nicely into full mount. Bag is looking to improve his position but Jang isn't that keen on the idea. Jang looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Jang sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Oooooh, big shot lands for Jang! Bag is hurt baaadly! Jang is firing away with more strikes - Bag is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
