The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Day falls off balance throwing a combination

and Lee counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Day lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Day working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Lee bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Day's guard.

Lee throws a big right hand that misses.
Lee looks winded!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Day is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Day wants to stand and escape but Lee is having none of it.
Day pulls Lee in to control the position.
My spies in Cozad MMA Tokyo inform me that Lee has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Lee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Day has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lee has managed to get both his arms back between Day's legs - danger averted.

Lee drops back looking for a leg! Day is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Day manages to kick Lee off! Lee jumps back into Day's guard.
