Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Milo Haynes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Matsuda Taro! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haynes needs to keep his hands up - Taro had a free shot at his head there. Taro blocks a head kick by Haynes.
Haynes tries a head kick but it misses.
Taro connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Haynes momentarily.
Taro scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Taro getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Taro dodges the punch combination from Haynes.
Taro now looks to counter with a shot at the body. A nice combination there by Taro.
Taro lands the left hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A jab from Taro does it's job there. Haynes forces Taro back against the cage and clinches. Haynes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Taro tries to throw a body punch but Haynes avoids it by throwing Taro back against the cage. Haynes breaks from the clinch.

Haynes is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Taro. Taro misses the shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Danga de danga de dang - Taro scores with a four punch combination! Haynes misses with a combination
enabling Taro to counter with a crisp jab. Haynes on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Haynes uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Taro.
Haynes misses with a two punch combination.
Taro dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Haynes thows a left - swing and a miss! Taro cracks Haynes with an open hand slap. Taro connects with a single shot there. Taro lands with a hook. Haynes tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Haynes takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Matsuda Taro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Taro misses with a double jab.
Haynes is looking for a counter combo. Haynes closes the distance and pushes Taro back into the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Taro fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Taro prevents a takedown attempt there.
Haynes jumps guard and drags Taro to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Taro is sitting in close to Haynes's body. Haynes has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Taro is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Taro is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Haynes.
