With a record of 7 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sangram Singh!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Singh scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Diamond manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Diamond gets caught flat footed, as Singh shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Singh is looking to work some ground and pound but Diamond has wrist control.
Diamond trying to keep a closed guard but Singh is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Singh throws a strike but Diamond rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Singh can do anything to dispel that myth.
