The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yamashita scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Thanasukarn doesn't seem bothered though. Yamashita scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Thanasukarn to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Yamashita away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Thanasukarn got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?! Yamashita scores with a jab to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A big right followed by a crushing left from Yamashita knocks Thanasukarn out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Yuta Yamashita!
