Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rogue Four (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Halliday (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rogue Four! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 19 - 3, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mickey Halliday! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Halliday defending well as Four loads up on a big left hand. Halliday tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Four manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Halliday gets off balance looking for a body kick and Four counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Halliday throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Four counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Mickey Halliday has been cut. A shot to the body from Halliday misses and Four counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Halliday thinking. Halliday throws a hook but Four blocks it. Four slips under a jab from Halliday. The fighters circle momentarily. Four darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Four looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Halliday is fending him off so far but Four persists. Nope, Halliday circles away and we're back to standing. Halliday misses with an uppercut
and Four counters with a nice uppercut. Halliday slaps away a takedown attempt from Four, before circling back to the center of the mat. Halliday throws a jab but it's blocked by Four. Four avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Halliday tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Four was well out of range. Poor timing from Halliday. Four scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Four is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Halliday is just riding it out for now. Four eventually gives up the hold.
That's one minute gone in the round. Halliday tries to kick Four off but Four keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Halliday tries to get to full guard but Four has control of the leg. Halliday really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Four. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Four is trying to control the action in half guard but Halliday is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Four misses with a head shot. Halliday uses the momentum to regain guard. Four working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Halliday's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Four with a flurry of punches that miss. Four drops back, looking for a kneebar! Halliday looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Halliday looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Halliday! Four regains half guard. Halliday performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Four's coaches at Roosters Coop have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position. Halliday prevents Four from improving his position. Halliday decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Four ducks right into an uppercut from Halliday.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Halliday tries to land a body kick and Four counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Halliday is looking to land body kicks. Mickey Halliday is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The crowd cheers as Four lands an impressive looking overhand right. Halliday doesn't seem phased though. Donk. Halliday catches Four right on the button with a cross. A slow jab from Halliday misses its intended target. Horrible takedown attempt by Four or perhaps it was just good defense by Halliday, which made it look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rogue Four. That's going to take a lot out of him. Halliday throws a nice looking combination but Four bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Four avoids a kick to the body.
Halliday throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Four sees it coming and avoids it easily. Halliday stalks Four and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Four's face. Four staggers backwards, shaken. Four moves into range and clinches up with Halliday. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Halliday swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Four gets a trip takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Four is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Four is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Halliday doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Four. Halliday looks like he's trying to stand up.
Halliday is refusing to be controlled, as Four sits in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Four connects with a nice short shot to Halliday's temple. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rogue Four will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Mickey Halliday's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Halliday throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Four on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Four has managed to clinch.
Four is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Halliday to keep the fight standing. Halliday wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Four has him pressed against the cage. Four gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Halliday regains guard.
Halliday uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Four takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Halliday misses with a wild body shot. Four tries to counter with a takedown but Halliday is quick to defend against it. Mickey Halliday seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Halliday closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Four! Halliday dives in looking to finish! Four is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mickey Halliday! Mickey Halliday was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
