Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kaambi Ayouba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Rosen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rosen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Wiz Khalifa - We Dem Boyz. Nick Rosen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kaambi Ayouba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Rosen! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ayouba misses with a hook. Ayouba looks for a takedown but Rosen sprawls well. Rosen connects with a right hand. Ayouba shakes it off. Ayouba throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rosen on the side of the head. Rosen takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ayouba changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rosen tries to avoid it but Ayouba manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rosen to the ground. Rosen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Despite the aggression on Rosen's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Rosen throws a low kick, looking for Ayouba's leg but Ayouba calmly moves out of range. Rosen takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Ayouba closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ayouba lands in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ayouba looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Ayouba drops back looking for a leg! Rosen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rosen manages to kick Ayouba off! Ayouba jumps back into Rosen's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ayouba controls from within his opponent's guard. Ayouba drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ayouba jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Ayouba is stalling in the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ayouba drops back looking for a leg! Rosen is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rosen manages to kick Ayouba off! Ayouba jumps back into Rosen's guard. Rosen wants to stand up but Ayouba is controlling him. Ayouba is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Ayouba feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ayouba is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Rosen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ayouba. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ayouba advances to half guard. Ayouba is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rosen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ayouba. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kaambi Ayouba dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ayouba will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Rosen lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Ayouba definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Rosen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ayouba's hands. Rosen misses with a few strikes there.
Ayouba closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rosen to the mat! Rosen manages to get full guard. Ayouba controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Rosen wants to get back to his feet but Ayouba is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ayouba pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rosen is keeping the position for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rosen has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Ayouba is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Rosen working hard to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ayouba jumps guard and drags Rosen to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Rosen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Ayouba is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rosen is looking to stand up but Ayouba won't let him. Rosen prevents Ayouba from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Rosen would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Ayouba is looking to stand up but Rosen isn't so interested in that idea.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ayouba looks for a takedown but Rosen sprawls well. Decent striking displayed by Rosen there. Ayouba connects with a jab. Ayouba avoids the head kick by Rosen.
That's three minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Rosen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ayouba will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kaambi Ayouba. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horrible takedown attempt by Ayouba or perhaps it was just good defense by Rosen, which made it look bad. Kaambi Ayouba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rosen ducks under a wild hook from Ayouba. Rosen lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Rosen will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Nick Rosen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Ayouba's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Rosen tries to bum rush Ayouba with a series of wild strikes but Ayouba uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A head kick by Rosen misses and Ayouba counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A punch combination from Rosen misses. Ayouba scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Nick Rosen has been cut. Rosen gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Rosen leaves Ayouba with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ayouba is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rosen's half guard. Rosen tries to kick Ayouba off in order to stand up. Ayouba Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ayouba prevents Rosen from escaping the position. Ayouba is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rosen has escaped the position, nice work there. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Rosen has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Ayouba is really squeezing tight and eventually Rosen passes out! Ayouba breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Kaambi Ayouba! After winning the bout, Kaambi Ayouba thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
