Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Albert Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couture has chosen Randy Couture as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Anderson.
Anderson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Anderson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Anderson shoots for a double leg takedown but Couture sprawls well. He's pushed Anderson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Albert Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anderson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Couture's waist but Couture gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anderson off to one side.
Anderson shoots in looking for a takedown. Couture tries to sprawl out of it but Anderson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Couture manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Albert Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Couture sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Anderson's defenses. It connects perfectly with Anderson's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
