Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Crisostomo Ibarra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Aragao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ibarra kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is im the best. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ibarra throws a nice looking combination but Aragao bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A lazy body kick from Ibarra

and Aragao moves into the clinch.
Ibarra is looking to break free of the clinch but Aragao has double underhooks.
Ibarra can't break the clinch.

Aragao manages to break the clinch.
Ibarra misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Aragao shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Ibarra lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Jon Aragao has been cut.
Ibarra goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Ibarra throws a push kick but Aragao slaps the foot to one side.
Aragao lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Aragao closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Aragao lands in his opponent's guard.
Ibarra knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aragao on the ground.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Aragao cracks Ibarra with a solid left hand.
Aragao works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Aragao looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Aragao is nestled in close to Ibarra, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Ibarra is trying to stand up here but Aragao is controlling him well.

Aragao decides to stand up.
Ibarra throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Aragao throws a head kick that misses.

Aragao decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Aragao seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Ibarra is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Aragao has latched onto it... Big trouble! Aragao pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Ibarra is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Aragao!
