Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Karistokas Thereduuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimi Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimi Aldo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aldo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Aldo lands in his opponent's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

That was a close round but I would say that Karistokas Thereduuo will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Thereduuo fails with a takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Aldo.
Aldo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Thereduuo tries to avoid it but Aldo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Thereduuo to the ground. Thereduuo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Aldo goes for a double leg but Thereduuo avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Thereduuo continues to drive forward.
Karistokas Thereduuo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jimi Aldo.

Aldo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Thereduuo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Aldo, into his guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Aldo has his foot on Thereduuo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Thereduuo works his way back into a safe position though.

Thereduuo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Thereduuo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
