Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

23 - 19 - 4, fighting out of Montreal, Shia LaBeouf!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hayway fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
LaBeouf sizes up Hayway with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Hayway misses with a low kick.
Hayway tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
LaBeouf lands a body shot.
LaBeouf on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hayway.
Hayway fails with a takedown attempt.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nathan Hayway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hayway ducks down and throws a hook to the body but LaBeouf moves away.
Hayway is looking to wear down LaBeouf with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Hayway on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Hayway changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. LaBeouf tries to avoid it but Hayway manages to keep hold of a leg and drag LaBeouf to the ground. LaBeouf escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

LaBeouf has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Hayway throws out a loose jab but LaBeouf uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hayway looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Hayway tries to land a front kick but LaBeouf steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

LaBeouf closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

LaBeouf is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Hayway.

LaBeouf has his feet on Hayway's thighs here. He's pushed Hayway off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Hayway screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Shia LaBeouf opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
